What's New, Odds & Ends, and FAQs

Whats New, January 2008

So, as the year winds down...I am excited to enter into yet another year of goals, trips, songs, experiences, friends, shows...I am also very excited to let you know that i will be working on a NEW ALBUM for 2008!

As I drove to the Kimmel Center for my show on December 17th, my little SUV went over the 200,000 mile mark & it made me smile. Yes, the simple thought of knowing most of those miles were well spent going to shows & travelling to new areas & playing for new & old fans made me smile & reminded me of how thankful i am for being able to do this -share my music with you- & spread it out all over the country!!! My car & I have spent a lot of time together...it is where i think, reflect, write, sing, relax, laugh, cry, talk to people, okay talk to MYself...I know there are those of you who feel the same closeness to your ride...it IS only a car, only an object, but it represents my freedom to some degree...some of you name yours...some of you have most of your life reflected in it by the music you listen to, the places you go, the things you keep stored in it...anyway, it's just a nice feeling & i am just spewing my thoughts on the top of my head all over this page here...why not- it's me, it's real stuff...and i thank you for taking the time to get to this line & for reading along & seeing what CH is doing or thinking...

The band & I have some shows lined up in the early part of 08' (solo, duo, trio, etc) at places like World Cafe Live, Tin Angel , Steel City, Rockwood Music Hall- NYC, Frogg Pond-DE, Triumph Brewing Company... I also have a few trips planned: 1 with Steph Hayes to Ohio in late January; NC to MD to De in February; VA in February; Boston / MA in March; back to Va & NC in March, West Coast / WA & OR in April; NH in May...& of course the summer festivals are still being planned...so keep your eyes open for a fest near you!

You can request music from Velocity at XM Satellite radio Click here: XMU, Sirius jhovies@siriusradio.com or your AAA station near you...as we all await the new music to come out in early 2008!

Thanks for all of your MySpace comments & shout-outs, your passing along of my music to your friends, your constant interest IN my music & for coming out to shows! I really look forward to playing for you soon in 2008!

Keep it real. keep it going. keep being you!
Christine
